How to enter

Please email your entries to: hello@perranporthlife.co.uk (max three photos per person)

Please include:

• Your name (for crediting purposes) and contact email address
• Where the photo was taken
• A short description
• Landscape orientation is strongly preferred. Portrait images may be considered but are unlikely to be suitable for inclusion in the calendar.
• High-resolution JPEG or TIFF files

Image quality: Please submit the original, full-resolution image straight from your phone or camera. Do not send screenshots or images downloaded from social media, as these are usually too low in resolution for print.

Closing date: 31st August 2026. Winners will be notified by Tuesday 15th September 2026.

Entry rules and terms

The competition is open to UK residents. By entering this competition, you confirm that:

• You are the photographer and the original creator of the image.
• You own the copyright to the photograph.
• The image has not been created using artificial intelligence (AI) or significantly altered using AI-generated content. Images generated wholly or partly using generative AI are not eligible. Standard photographic editing (such as exposure, contrast, colour correction and dust removal) is permitted.
• You are at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian to enter.
• If your photograph contains identifiable people, you have obtained their permission for the image to be entered into this competition and published if selected. Where children appear in an image, permission has been obtained from their parent or legal guardian.
• Your photograph does not infringe the copyright, privacy or other rights of any third party.

Images captured by drone are welcome, provided they were taken legally and in accordance with current UK Civil Aviation Authority regulations.

Image Licence

Copyright remains with the photographer. By entering the competition, you grant Perranporth Life a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce and publish your photograph in connection with the Perranporth Life brand, including the competition, calendars, magazines, books, greeting cards, prints, the Perranporth Life website, social media and promotional material.

Your photograph will not be licensed or sold independently to unrelated third parties without your permission.

Perranporth Life reserves the right to disqualify any entry or withdraw any selected image if it is later found to breach these terms or for any other reasonable reason.

Judging

A shortlist will be selected by the Perranporth Life team. Winning images will be chosen based on creativity, photographic quality and how well they represent Perranporth. Public voting may contribute to the final decision, but Perranporth Life reserves the right to make the final selection. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Editing

Perranporth Life reserves the right to make minor adjustments to submitted images to suit the calendar design while preserving the integrity of the original photograph. Minor adjustments may include cropping, resizing, colour correction and tonal adjustments necessary for printing and publication.

Data protection

Your personal information will only be used to administer this competition, contact winners and, if you separately choose to opt in, send you the Perranporth Life newsletter. Your details will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
